General Manager Darren Mougey stated Friday the New York Jets have not engaged in discussions with any team regarding running back Breece Hall. The comment addresses speculation about Hall's future with the club as the NFL Draft is underway.

Rumors surfaced ahead of the draft suggesting that Hall, who is entering the final year of his rookie contract, could be available for a trade. A source reportedly indicated Hall was "available" for the right price.

Hall himself posted a message on social media that some observers interpreted as potentially hinting at a move.

The trade rumors gained traction partly due to the team's stated intention to utilize a running back committee under new head coach Aaron Glenn in 2025.

The Denver Broncos were frequently mentioned as a potential destination for Hall in media reports. The Broncos have a noted need at the running back position and possess a strong offensive line unit.

Some believed moving to a team like Denver with a stout offensive line could allow Hall to achieve peak performance after playing behind a struggling line in New York.

Other teams, including the Dallas Cowboys, were also cited in speculation about acquiring a veteran running back instead of relying solely on draft picks.

Despite the circulating rumors, Mougey's post-draft comments directly contradicted the idea that a Broncos trade or any other trade involving the running back was being considered.

"I haven’t had any talks with any teams about Breece Hall," Mougey said. "He’s on the team."
