A new comedy feature titled "The Breadwinner" is underway at TriStar Pictures, with Mandy Moore and Nate Bargatze attached to star. The film is set to feature Bargatze in a leading role.

This project marks Nate Bargatze's feature film acting debut. He is known widely as a touring comedian.

Moore joins the cast opposite Bargatze. She is familiar to television audiences from her work on This Is Us, according to Source.

Reports indicate the film's plot centers on Bargatze's character whose life changes when his wife lands a deal on Shark Tank.

Following his wife's success, the character who was the primary provider for the family becomes a stay-at-home dad. He quickly finds the role presents challenges. Deadline reported details about the film's premise.

Beyond his starring role, Bargatze also serves as a co-writer on the script for The Breadwinner. He is producing the film as well.

Dan Lagna is a fellow producer on the project. Jeremy Latcham, formerly with Marvel Studios, also produces through his Wonder Project banner.

Eric Appel is directing the comedy feature.

Three young actors have joined the cast to play the couple's daughters on screen. These include Stella Grace Fitzgerald, Birdie Borria, and Charlotte Ann Tucker.
