The Cleveland Browns have announced jersey numbers for players added during the offseason, including their 2025 draft class and free agent signings. These assignments provide an initial look at how the roster will appear on the field.

Wide receiver and return specialist DeAndre Carter, who joined the team earlier in the offseason, will wear number 2.

The announcement also confirmed numbers for the team's draft picks and other additions.

Quarterback Shedeur Sanders, selected 144th in the 2025 draft, will wear number 12. Sanders wore number 2 throughout his high school and college career.

The Browns officially released the jersey numbers Tuesday..Other draft picks received numbers, including quarterback Dillon Gabriel (5), running back Quinshon Judkins (10), running back Dylan Sampson (22), linebacker Carson Schwesinger (49), tight end Harold Fannin Jr. (88), and defensive tackle Mason Graham (94).

Notable free agent additions receiving numbers included quarterback Kenny Pickett (8), cornerback Tony Brown II (11), wide receiver Diontae Johnson (16), linebacker Jerome Baker (17), cornerback Nik Needham (25), kicker Andre Szmyt (38), defensive end Julian Okwara (53), offensive tackle Cornelius Lucas (71), guard Teven Jenkins (74), defensive end Joe Tryon-Shoyinka (90), and defensive tackle Maliek Collins (96).

Players will wear their new numbers publicly for the first time when the rookie minicamp begins Friday.

The team noted that these jersey number assignments are subject to change before the start of the 2025 regular season.
