The Call of Duty League season continues this weekend as the third Major event progresses toward its Grand Final. Twelve teams are competing for prize money and valuable CDL Points, which help determine qualification for the season-ending Championship Weekend tournament.

The tournament began Thursday with the first round of the winners bracket. Los Angeles Thieves, Boston Breach, Miami Heretics, and Vancouver Surge won their opening matches to advance.

The remaining eight teams dropped into the elimination bracket, where they faced immediate pressure to keep their tournament hopes alive. Friday saw four elimination matches play out.

Atlanta FaZe, winners of CDL Major 2 2025, bounced back from a first-round loss. They defeated Cloud9 New York to advance.

In another elimination match, OpTic Texas faced the Vegas Falcons. The Falcons recently secured their first Call of Duty League win of the season against OpTic Texas in qualifiers. While OpTic Texas has faced performance challenges this season, they secured the win Friday to eliminate the Falcons.

Toronto Ultra, a team often near the top of the standings, defeated the Los Angeles Guerrillas M8. The Guerrillas have struggled this season, while Ultra sits high in the league rankings.

The final elimination match Friday featured the Carolina Royal Ravens and the Minnesota RØKKR. The Royal Ravens were considered slight favorites based on season performance, and they won the match to advance, eliminating the RØKKR.

Saturday's schedule includes the winners bracket second round, alongside further elimination matches. Sunday will feature the finals of both the winners and elimination brackets, culminating in the Grand Final to determine the Major III champion.

All tournament matches are livestreamed on the official CDL YouTube Channel.
