League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK) and Riot Games have detailed the plan for the 2025 LCK Road to Mid-Season Invitational (MSI) qualifier tournament. This event determines the two teams from the region advancing to MSI in Vancouver, Canada, set for June.
The qualifier operates as a single-elimination bracket featuring the top six teams from the LCK spring regular season standings. The initial rounds will take place at LoL Park's LCK Arena in Seoul.
Competition begins with Round 1 on June 7, pitting the fifth- and sixth-place teams against each other. The winner progresses to Round 2 on June 8 to face the fourth-place finisher. Both opening rounds commence at 5 p.m. KST. Matches utilize a best-of-five format under Fearless Draft rules.
Tickets for these Seoul matches are priced at ₩40,000, excluding fees. Sales open 52 hours before each match via Woori Bank’s Won Banking application. Tickets also become available through Interpark starting 48 hours prior to the respective match times.
The tournament moves to Sajik Indoor Gymnasium in Busan for Rounds 3 through 5, running from June 13 to June 15. The top two teams from the regular season will compete on June 13 at 5 p.m. for the first seed.
The third-place team enters the bracket on June 14 at 3 p.m. to play the winner of Round 2. The qualifier concludes on June 15 at 3 p.m., when the Round 4 winner challenges the loser of the Round 3 match for the remaining MSI slot. All games in Busan also follow the best-of-five, Fearless Draft structure.
Busan ticket sales are scheduled to begin earlier. Presales for Woori Bank customers start on May 21. Interpark sales commence on May 23 at staggered times (3 p.m. for Round 3, 4 p.m. for Round 4, 5 p.m. for the final) with a second release on May 30 at the same times. Tickets can be purchased through both Korean and global Interpark sites, as well as the Won Banking app.
The 2025 season marks the implementation of the LCK’s new single-season format, running from March through September. Ten teams compete throughout the year for regional standing and international berths like MSI. More details about the qualifier are available through the official release release.
