Three juveniles were taken into custody early Thursday after a carjacking led to a police pursuit that ended in a crash in the city's Fern Rock section. The incident occurred in North Philadelphia following a chase involving the stolen vehicle.

The pursuit concluded when the vehicle crashed near the intersection of 9th Street and West Champlost Avenue. Police at the scene confirmed that no injuries were reported as a result of the crash.

Philadelphia Police Chief Inspector Scott Small addressed the incident, stating that the exact location of the initial carjacking remains under investigation.

Following the crash, three juveniles were arrested by responding officers.

Authorities are actively seeking two or three additional individuals who are believed to have been involved in the carjacking and subsequent events.
