Country artist Miranda Lambert has revealed a new tattoo. The ink, a small horseshoe near her wrist, was visible in a recent photo promoting her Idyllwind lifestyle brand.
Fans noticed the detail in the image shared last week. The photo shows the singer in a denim outfit with her forearm resting on her knee, making the tattoo visible.
The tattoo artist, Christina Nguyen, shared details about the design in March. Nguyen posted a photo of the tattoo, stating it was for Miranda Lambert to represent her horses. The design includes a heart and two star-like shapes inside the horseshoe.
The singer is a horse owner. She has described her horses as "the loves of my life."
Earlier this year, Miranda Lambert welcomed a new horse named Cool. She shared on social media that the horse was a "match made in cowgirl heaven" and noted taking up mounted shooting as a hobby. Miranda Lambert has several horses.
The horseshoe tattoo joins other ink on her body, including script along her forearm and an arrow on the side of her hand. She also has a paw print representing her MuttNation foundation.
Miranda Lambert is scheduled to perform at the Academy of Country Music Awards on May 8. She is part of a lineup including Alan Jackson, Chris Stapleton, and Kelsea Ballerini.
