Actress Elsa Pataky says her nearly 15-year marriage to Chris Hemsworth requires continuous effort. In a recent interview, Pataky discussed the importance of working together to maintain a strong bond.

Pataky stated that a marriage "needs constant work." She emphasized the need for couples to keep growing together and ensure their individual paths continue to cross.

Finding enjoyment in small moments and remaining curious about one another helps keep a relationship strong, Pataky noted. She added that adapting to situations that may create distance is necessary to find each other again.

Pataky, a Spanish actress known for the Fast & Furious franchise, first met Chris Hemsworth in 2010. The couple married later that year. They have three children: daughter India, and twin sons Sasha and Tristan.

When asked what she admires most about her husband, Pataky pointed to his sense of humor. She explained that if a situation becomes tense, Hemsworth can make her laugh.

The couple has attempted to adhere to a rule of not being apart for more than two weeks. Pataky acknowledged this has become more difficult as their children have grown older and have their own preferences regarding travel.

Pataky recently appeared in the 2024 film Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, in which Chris Hemsworth also co-headlined. Pataky is also an ambassador for the footwear brand Gioseppo and is involved with a production company, with upcoming projects in Australia and Spain.
