David Beckham’s 50th birthday party at a West London restaurant was shut down by council officers early Sunday after neighbors complained about noise. The celebration at the three-Michelin-star Core restaurant in Notting Hill drew family and celebrity friends.

Council officers arrived at 3:35 a.m. and spoke with restaurant staff. A witness noted the music grew louder as the night continued, prompting complaints from nearby residents.

Among the guests were Tom Cruise, Gordon Ramsay, Guy Ritchie, Gary Neville, Eva Longoria, and Ana de Armas. Beckham's wife Victoria attended with their children Romeo, Cruz, and Harper, 13.

The council confirmed its officers provided advice to minimize disruption. The music stopped immediately afterward, according to a witness.

Notably absent from the gathering and family photos shared online were Beckham's eldest son Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz-Beckham. Their absence followed reports of a family feud. Kim Turnbull was also not reported among the party attendees.

Brooklyn and Nicola Peltz-Beckham were in London in the week leading up to the birthday but missed several family events, including a dinner in the Cotswolds and a trip to Paris. They reportedly returned to Los Angeles for the Met Ball.

Inside the party, Cruz serenaded his parents with a song. Chef Clare Smyth designed a special menu for the occasion.

An insider stated that attendees had a good time despite the early end to the event. "Naturally David and Victoria were upset Brooklyn wasn’t there with them but made sure it was an occasion to remember," the insider said.
