Wrestler CM Punk has stated a new career objective following his first main event appearance at WrestleMania 41 last month.

CM Punk headlined Night 1 of WWE’s top Premium Live Event on 19th April. He competed in a Triple Threat match against Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins. The match saw Paul Heyman joined forces with Seth Rollins, influencing the result.

Headlining the event fulfilled a long-held career aspiration for CM Punk. He reportedly experienced significant emotion leading up to the bout. CM Punk cried all day before Wrestlemania reports indicated.

With WrestleMania now presented as a two-night event, discussion exists among fans regarding which night truly hosts the main event. Some fans believe only the Night 2 finale holds that status as it concludes the weekend, while others regard the final match on each night as a main event.

Speaking on Instagram Live, CM Punk addressed the possibility of headlining WrestleMania again. He referenced the fan discussion about his recent achievement on Night 1.

CM Punk recently opened up on his potential retirement. The 46-year-old wrestler said he is not currently considering ending his active wrestling career.

Addressing whether he would seek another WrestleMania main event, CM Punk said:

“Sure, I do. Gotta hit night two for all those people that move the goalposts.”
