Mason Miller, an offensive lineman from North Dakota State University, has signed an undrafted free agent contract with the Detroit Lions following the 2025 NFL Draft. Miller agreed to terms shortly after the draft concluded.

Miller's signing reunites him with former North Dakota State offensive coordinator Tyler Roehl, who is now the tight ends coach for the Lions.

During his time at North Dakota State, Mason Miller was a starter over his final three seasons, appearing in 41 games during that period. He played right tackle for much of his career but also started games at left guard in 2023.

He earned Associated Press FCS All-American honors for his play. Miller was a consistent presence on one of the top offenses in the Football Championship Subdivision.

While considered versatile, Miller faced competition at a lower level of college football compared to Power Four conferences. He played two games against Power Four teams during his starting years.

Miller also dealt with injuries during his college career, including breaking his right fibula in 2022. He started every game in the two seasons after that injury.

His athleticism scores measured lower compared to many offensive guard prospects since 1987, though his length and bench press numbers were noted.

Miller joins a group of North Dakota State players who have moved on to the NFL. He will participate in upcoming team activities, including the Lions' rookie minicamp.
