Toronto Maple Leafs goaltender Anthony Stolarz exited Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Second Round against the Florida Panthers during the second period Monday.

Stolarz left the game at 10:14 of the second period. He had stopped eight of the nine shots he faced before his departure.

Joseph Woll replaced Stolarz in the net for the Toronto Maple Leafs. Woll had not played since April 17.

Earlier in the second period, Panthers forward Sam Bennett made contact with Stolarz's head. Play continued after the contact.

During a subsequent break, Stolarz was seen vomiting on the bench. Shortly after, the goaltending change was made.

The Maple Leafs announced early in the third period that Stolarz was being evaluated and would not return to the game.

Stolarz had started all seven games for the Toronto Maple Leafs in the postseason entering Monday. He posted a 4-2 record with a 2.21 GAA and .901 save percentage in the Eastern Conference First Round against the Ottawa Senators.

Woll posted a 27-14-1 record with a 2.73 GAA and .909 save percentage in 42 regular-season games. He has a 3-2 record with a 1.78 GAA and .933 save percentage in seven career playoff games.
