AHMEDABAD — Gujarat Titans head coach Ashish Nehra caused a stir at a recent Indian Premier League practice session when he unexpectedly called out Delhi Capitals player Abishek Porel. The lighthearted moment took place ahead of the two teams facing each other.

Nehra, known for his relaxed interactions, approached the nets where Capitals players were practicing. He spotted the wicketkeeper-batter and decided to interject.

"Is it Abishek Porel? Come here, brother, last ball," Nehra was heard saying in Hindi. He then added, "Done! Time up. Well done, good shot, now come out."

The impromptu instruction from an opposition coach drew amusement from players and staff nearby. Capitals captain Axar Patel was seen pulling Nehra playfully. Delhi coach Hemang Badani was also present and shared a laugh.

Badani joked that Nehra might take charge of both teams' net sessions. Axar Patel suggested Nehra should manage the Capitals' practice as well, keeping the mood light.

The interaction, captured on video, quickly circulated online, highlighting Nehra's unique personality off the field. While rare, such friendly banter between opposing camps reflects the camaraderie among former teammates and coaches in the league.

The Delhi Capitals and Gujarat Titans are preparing for their upcoming match. Delhi currently sits higher in the IPL points table.
