Bri Ellis tied the Arkansas season home run record during the game, hitting her 25th of the year. The Razorbacks built an early lead, scoring seven runs in the first inning. Kailey Wyckoff hit a two-run homer and Kennedy Miller added a three-run home run in the opening frame.
LSU responded in later innings, narrowing the margin. Courtney Day hit her 15th home run of the season in the fifth inning, providing additional runs for Arkansas.
The win against LSU is part of the final regular season series for Arkansas. Prior to the series, the Razorbacks were coming off a win at No. 1/2 Texas A&M, securing their fifth-straight series win in SEC play.
