The Big Ten Conference has announced the home and away opponents for the 2025-26 men’s and women’s basketball seasons. The release provides a look at the conference matchups each of the 18 member institutions will face. Full schedules with specific dates and times will be determined later.

Nebraska women’s basketball will host nine Big Ten games in the upcoming season. Six of these home contests will be against teams that qualified for the 2025 NCAA Tournament. Nebraska will play host to UCLA, USC, Iowa, Maryland, Illinois, and Indiana.

The team will also play away games at Minnesota, Penn State, and Wisconsin. This will mark the first time the Huskers women’s team travels to Oregon and Washington for Big Ten regular season play.

For the men's teams, the Big Ten will continue its 20-game conference format for the eighth consecutive season. Each team will play three opponents both at home and on the road, and the remaining 14 teams once, split evenly with seven at home and seven away. Michigan State men's basketball faces a challenging road slate. The Spartans will make single trips to Purdue, Wisconsin, Nebraska, Oregon, and Washington.

Michigan State will play Indiana, Michigan, and Rutgers twice, with home and away games against each. The Spartans avoided road games against USC and UCLA, instead hosting both teams in East Lansing. Tom Izzo's team won the Big Ten regular season championship in 2024-25 with a 17-3 record.
