Villanova transfer forward Kris Parker announced Wednesday he is transferring to the University of Central Florida. Parker shared his decision on social media platforms.

Parker, a redshirt freshman, spent the past season with Villanova Athletics. He played in 27 games as a reserve, averaging 2.6 points and 1.4 rebounds in about 10 minutes per contest during the 2024-25 season.

He joined Villanova after transferring from Alabama last offseason. Parker redshirted his true freshman year with the Crimson Tide and did not appear in any games. He was rated a three-star prospect out of high school.

While Parker was part of the rotation for the Villanova Basketball team during the recent season, his role decreased late in the year. He made limited appearances in the final months of the schedule.

Parker entered the transfer portal on April 8. His departure is one of multiple roster adjustments for the Wildcats program this offseason.

Eight players from Villanova entered the transfer portal. This leaves a small group of expected returners for the upcoming 2025-26 season, including rising junior guard Tyler Perkins, rising redshirt freshman forward Matthew Hodge, and senior walk-on Wade Chiddick.

Several other players who entered the portal have not yet announced new destinations. Rising redshirt sophomore Jordann Dumont remains in the portal.

Additionally, rising fifth-year players Enoch Boakye and Jordan Longino are also in the portal. They face potential eligibility issues and may seek waivers from the NCAA to play another college season.

The active Villanova sports landscape also includes visits by recruits for other programs, as reported by outlets like 247Sports, which provides Villanova sports info and features a board for team discussion called 'Nova Nation'. Interested fans can find Insider Info on team matters.

Parker's commitment to UCF follows his earlier announcement that he was entering the transfer portal and finalizes his departure from Villanova.
