Dates for the 2026 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival have been set for two weekends in April. The event returns to the Empire Polo Club in Indio.
Weekend 1 will take place from April 10-12, and Weekend 2 is scheduled for April 17-19, 2026. This marks the 25th edition of the annual festival.
The advance ticket sale, commonly known as the Coachella presale, is scheduled to begin Friday, May 2, 2025. Passes will be available starting at 2 PM ET via the festival's official website.
This initial sale occurs before the lineup for 2026 is announced. A general sale is typically held later, after the artist roster is revealed. Passes may also be available on secondary markets such as StubHub after the advance sale period.
Only 3-day passes will be sold for both weekends. Pass types include General Admission (GA) and VIP tiers. VIP passes offer dedicated entry and access to exclusive areas on the festival grounds. Single-day passes are not offered.
Pass pricing varies by weekend and tier. Weekend 1 GA passes start at $599 (including fees), while Weekend 2 GA passes start at $549 (including fees). Prices increase for GA passes bundled with shuttle service and for VIP passes.
A payment plan is available for the advance sale period beginning May 2, 2025. This plan allows attendees to pay a down payment followed by equal installments through December 2025. Specific payment plan details are available on Coachella’s website.
Camping options are available separately from festival passes. The standard Tent Camping tier has been removed for 2026, with focus shifting to various Car Camping options. Ready-Set Tent Camping and higher-tier experiences like Safari Camping are also offered.
For those preferring not to camp, hotel packages are offered through partners like Valley Music Travel. Independent booking through sites like Booking.com near the festival site is another option.
