A film about the life of Anthony Bourdain is seeking real restaurant workers for roles. Production company A24 is making the movie, which focuses on the late chef's early years.
The production specifically seeks male actors in their early 20s, who are black and speak with a Tennessee accent, preferably with kitchen experience. No prior acting experience is needed.
Filming for the biopic, titled Tony, is scheduled to occur in Provincetown, Massachusetts, from May through early July. Interested individuals can email [email protected] with their name, a photo, and a brief description.
