Sabrina Carpenter attended the 2025 Met Gala on Monday, making a solo appearance at the event held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Her attendance follows reports earlier this year regarding a separation from actor Barry Keoghan.

The artist arrived on the Met Gala 2025 carpet wearing a burgundy bodysuit by Louis Vuitton. The ensemble featured a corset bodice and a dramatic train, interpreted as a nod to the evening's dress code, "Tailored for You." The design opted against traditional pants.

This year's theme, "Superfine: Tailoring Black Style," focused on the history and impact of tailoring in Black fashion. Attendees interpreted the year's theme in varied ways on the red carpet.

Carpenter's appearance contrasted with her 2024 Met Gala attendance, where she arrived alongside Barry Keoghan. They made their red carpet debut as a couple at the event that year.

Barry Keoghan also attended the 2025 Met Gala, walking the carpet separately from Carpenter. Sabrina Carpenter and Barry Keoghan reportedly attended within an hour of each other.

News reports indicated in December 2024 that the pair was "taking space" from one another. A source told Entertainment Tonight at the time that Carpenter was busy and not upset by the separation.

This marks Sabrina Carpenter's third time attending the annual Met Gala event in four years. She made her debut in 2022. On the carpet that year, she quipped to Vogue about it being her first time.

Beyond the Met Gala, Carpenter has maintained a public schedule, recently appearing at a Moda Operandi pre-Met Gala cocktail party and making a cameo on dropped in on Quinta Brunson's Saturday Night Live monologue.
