Warner Bros. Discovery Home Entertainment has confirmed that the upcoming 007: Sean Connery 6-Film Collection 4K Ultra HD box set will feature newly remastered films. The set, scheduled for release on June 10, includes new 4K masters derived from recent 4K scans of the original camera negatives.

MGM performed the new scans last year. The set also includes new Dolby Atmos audio mixes created at Skywalker Sound. These new audio tracks are not simply up-mixes of previous mixes.

In related home video news, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment plans to release a new 4K Steelbook edition of David Ayer’s Fury on July 15. The 2014 film starring Brad Pitt, Shia LaBeouf, Logan Lerman, Michael Peña, and Jon Bernthal will feature Dolby Vision high dynamic range.

The previous 4K release of Fury from 2018 included only HDR10. This new Steelbook will include the same extras as the prior release, with the exception of the 46-minute documentary “The Tanks of Fury,” which will not be present on either the 4K or Blu-ray discs in the new package.

Additional announcements include Kino Lorber Studio Classics preparing Simon Wincer’s The Phantom from 1996 for a 4K Ultra HD release. The label also revealed Mario Bava’s Danger: Diabolik (1968) is coming to 4K on July 22 and David Engelbach’s America 3000 (1986) will arrive on Blu-ray soon.

Universal is also releasing new Steelbook editions for the Jurassic Park and Jurassic World trilogies on June 17. The Jurassic Park 4K Trilogy set will feature Dolby Vision upgrades, but these presentations use the existing 2018 4K masters with new color grades, rather than new 4K scans. However, the Atmos mixes for the films are new, recently re-mixed at Skywalker Sound from the original audio stems.
