Actress Laura Harrier attended the Met Gala in New York City on Monday, May 5, 2025, without her fiancé Sam Jarou, following reports that the couple had ended their relationship.

Harrier, 35, was photographed on the red carpet at the Metropolitan Museum of Art noticeably not wearing an engagement ring.

The appearance comes after reports indicated Harrier and Jarou had recently separated. Sources told Us Weekly on April 30 that the couple had called it quits after four years together, describing the split as amicable and stating they remained friends.

Harrier and Jarou, a French freelance creative consultant, first met at a dinner in Los Angeles in 2019.

Harrier confirmed her engagement to Jarou in a September 2022 Cosmopolitan interview, describing the proposal in Paris as simple and sweet.

The actress previously shut down dating rumors with Shameik Moore in December 2024 on social media, stating she was engaged to Jarou at the time.

She last shared a photograph with Jarou on social media in January 2025. By March 2025, reports suggested she was no longer wearing her engagement ring.

Harrier’s representatives have not responded to requests for comment on the status of her relationship with Jarou.

At the Met Gala, Harrier wore wide-legged trousers and a cinched-waist vest top.

Harrier can currently be seen in the television series 'Doctor Odyssey'.
