A$AP Rocky confirmed Monday he and Rihanna are expecting their third child together. The announcement came as the couple attended the 2025 Met Gala in New York City.
Speaking to reporters at the event, A$AP Rocky acknowledged the news, stating, "It feels amazing... And I'm glad everybody's happy for us 'cause we definitely happy, you know." Reports had surfaced earlier in the day regarding the pregnancy.
Rihanna arrived separately from A$AP Rocky, who served as a co-chair for this year's gala. She appeared on the blue carpet exhibiting a baby bump, following photos taken earlier in the day in New York City.
The annual fashion event at the Metropolitan Museum of Art celebrated the theme "Superfine: Tailoring Black Style," tied to a museum exhibition exploring Black dandyism and fashion history. A$AP Rocky's role as co-chair highlighted the menswear focus.
The couple has two sons. Their first child, RZA, was born in May 2022. Riot Rose arrived later in 2023. They first revealed they were expecting Riot Rose when Rihanna performed during the Super Bowl halftime show in 2023, displaying her pregnancy during the performance.
A$AP Rocky's attendance at the Met Gala followed his recent acquittal in a Los Angeles trial on firearms charges. A jury found him not guilty in February after deliberations that lasted approximately three hours. He maintained a notable sense of style throughout the court proceedings.
Speaking after confirming the pregnancy, A$AP Rocky expressed appreciation for the positive response. "Honestly, it's a blessing nonetheless," he said. "But we've been seeing love for the most part. And we real receptive to that and appreciate that... That's love. Love is love."
