Alyssa Scott publicly criticized Nick Cannon this week, alleging he has not seen their two-year-old daughter Halo for over a month. The comment came in response to a clip where Cannon discussed insuring his testicles for $10 million.
Scott posted the clip on social media with the caption, "ha ha haaa funny. Any plans on seeing your child? It’s been over a month @nickcannon. But it’s good to know she’ll get some of your $ money is anything happens to your b*lls smh."
Cannon recently discussed a pricey insurance policy he took out on his testicles during an appearance on the "Tea Time with Raven & Miranda" podcast.
He stated the concept began as a joke but became a legitimate policy, valuing each testicle at $5 million for a total of $10 million. Cannon mentioned the insurance policy was prompted by a commercial he did for a soap brand focusing on men's hygiene products.
Cannon also stated that if something happened to his testicles, the $10 million from the insurance policy would go to his children.
Alyssa Scott and Nick Cannon share daughter Halo Marie Cannon, born in December 2022. They were also parents to son Zen, who died at five months old in December 2021 after a brain cancer diagnosis.
Cannon has 11 other children with five other women, making him a father of 12.
He has spoken in the past about the difficulties of being a father to multiple children, including feeling "spread thin" and not having enough time with each child.
Cannon recently commented in March 2025 that he was "pressing hold" on having more children for the time being, citing his "bank account" among reasons.
A representative for Cannon did not immediately respond to a request for comment regarding Scott's allegations.
