The latest update for MLB THE SHOW 25 has been released across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch platforms. This tenth update focuses on resolving technical issues and refining various aspects of the baseball simulation game, including on-field actions and game modes.

Among the gameplay corrections, instances where users incorrectly received wins in quick co-op matches after an opponent quit have been fixed. The method for forfeiting in head-to-head play has changed from a "press and hold" action to a simpler "tap to accept" on the screen prompt, according to the update.

Adjustments were made to the game's GOAT difficulty setting. The size of the Plate Coverage Indicator (PCI) has seen a slight increase overall, and the penalty applied to low and away pitches has been reduced. Timing for batter strides was also refined to appear more realistic. Crashes previously affecting co-op mode have been addressed.

Various game modes received attention. In Diamond Dynasty, a visual issue displaying incorrect Stubs and XP rewards for Zone Sweeper in Diamond Quest was resolved. An upcoming roster attribute update will automatically cancel and refund marketplace buy and sell orders that fall outside new stub limits based on updated overall ratings, a measure detailed on the game's news site.

Franchise mode fixes include resolving a bug that caused game stats to reset when players performed actions like pinch-hitting or pitching changes via the Quick Manage menu. An issue where free agents displayed zero stats during contract negotiations was also corrected. Created players with listed MLB service time will now show the appropriate MLB Debut patch on uniforms in their first game of the season. Players interested in managing teams like the Chicago White Sox will find these management details functioning correctly.

The Stadium Creator saw issues fixed regarding the ability to load stadiums built in prior editions of MLB THE SHOW. Stadiums will now show the correct preview images in the Stadium Vault, and uploaded stadiums can be used in online modes. Lighting problems, such as flickering in dugouts and on outfield walls within created stadiums, have also been fixed.

Road to the Show now displays the in-game ticker during MLB games. Storylines mode had a bug corrected where the wrong player image would appear on the 'Try Again' screen after a moment was not completed successfully.

General game improvements include the addition of the 2025 Chicago White Sox City Connect uniforms. A problem causing frame rate drops when a runner was on base has been fixed. Minor commentary bugs also received corrections.

Thirteen player models within the game were updated to better reflect the real-life athletes. Players receiving model updates include Patrick Murphy, Oscar Gonzalez, Cole Roederer, Jason Alexander, Francisco Lindor, Dylan Cease, Jorge Lopez, Nathan Lukes, Adley Rutschman, Anthony Bender, Ke'Bryan Hayes, Nick Gonzaeles, and Cade Bunnell. Paul Molitor's model was also updated. Player appearances are regularly updated, including those on lists like the Best Defensive Players.

The update aims to enhance stability and playability across modes, particularly focusing on core gameplay and the popular Diamond Dynasty mode. The regular updates address issues reported by the player base and refine the overall experience.
