Tottenham forward Son Heung-min will miss the team's Premier League match against West Ham United on Saturday due to a foot injury. This marks the sixth consecutive game Son has been unavailable for selection.

The match, part of the 35th round of the 2024-2025 Premier League season, is scheduled for 10 p.m. Korea time at London Stadium. The upcoming match between West Ham Vs Tottenham features Tottenham, currently 16th with 37 points, facing 17th-placed West Ham. While both teams appear safe from relegation, the outcome will affect their positions in the standings.

Speaking before the match, Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou provided an update on Son's condition. "Son Heung-min is rehabilitating diligently, and his condition is improving daily," Postecoglou said. "He has not yet joined team training but is training individually on the grass."

Son's continued absence impacts his pursuit of a personal record. He is currently on 7 goals and 9 assists for the league season. Reaching 10 goals and 10 assists would extend his streak of achieving double-digit goals in every season since his debut year, excluding the 2015-2016 season. With only three league games remaining after the West Ham match, time is short.

Tottenham announced its starting lineup for the match. The team will deploy a 4-3-3 formation. Mathis Tel, Richarlison, and Willson Odobert are listed in the attack. Dejan Kulusevski, Pape Sarr, and Yves Bissouma form the midfield. The back line includes Jed Spence, Ben Davies, Kevin Danso, and Archie Gray, with Guglielmo Vicario in goal.

Despite his injury, Son has been present to support his teammates. Son watched from the bench during the team's recent Europa League semifinal first leg match.

Son missed the Europa League semifinal first leg against Bodo/Glimt on May 2. Tottenham won that match 3-1 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

He cheered actively from the bench with teammates during the Europa League game, demonstrating his presence and leadership within the squad even when unable to play.

"He is still away from the team. His condition is improving, so I hope he can return soon," Postecoglou said.
