MetLife Stadium will host nine matches during the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, including the tournament final. The event marks the U.S. debut of the expanded 32-team club competition, modeled after the FIFA World Cup for national teams.

The tournament brings together elite clubs from six global confederations across 12 stadiums in the United States. Competition is set to begin on Sunday, June 15, 2025.

MetLife Stadium is scheduled to host five group stage fixtures: Sunday, June 15: SE Palmeiras vs. FC Porto (Group A) Tuesday, June 17: Fluminense FC vs. Borussia Dortmund (Group F) Thursday, June 19: SE Palmeiras vs. Al Ahly FC (Group A) Saturday, June 21: Fluminense FC vs. Ulsan HD (Group F)

  • Monday, June 23: FC Porto vs. Al Ahly FC (Group A)

The stadium will also stage four knockout phase games. These include a quarter-final match on Saturday, July 5, and both semi-finals on Tuesday, July 8, and Wednesday, July 9.

The final match is scheduled for Saturday, July 13, concluding the tournament at MetLife Stadium.

Clubs like Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Manchester City, and Inter Milan are among the qualified teams with a potential path to the later stages at the New Jersey venue.
