Chloe Chambers claimed pole position during a rain-affected F1 ACADEMY qualifying session here Friday, navigating a wet track to set the fastest lap early.

The driver established her lead before conditions worsened significantly, preventing competitors from improving their times. Chambers finished with a time of 2:00.458.

Chambers’ Campos Racing teammate, Alisha Palmowski, secured the second position. They were followed closely by Doriane Pin of Mercedes and Ella Lloyd representing McLaren, with a tight margin separating the top four drivers.

The results mark Chambers’ second consecutive pole position and represent a one-two finish for Campos Racing in the Teams' Standings.

Further down the grid, Williams driver Lia Block finished fifth. ART Grand Prix's Aurelia Nobels was sixth, ahead of Racing Bulls rookie Rafaela Ferreira in seventh.

Kick Sauber driver Emma Felbermayr qualified eighth. Tina Hausmann placed ninth, while Standings leader Maya Weug ended the session in 10th position.

Felbermayr's eighth-place finish means she is set to start Race 1 from reverse grid pole position later today.

The Miami race takes place at the Hard Rock Stadium campus. Aston Martin Aramco Head of F1 ACADEMY Jessica Hawkins noted the physical demands racing in Miami's climate presents.

Hawkins also commented on Tina Hausmann's performance, stating she is confident about potential positive results.

“I'm very confident that there are more positive results to come,” Jessica Hawkins said about Hausmann. “We know Tina's got the pace.”
