The USGA and SeatGeek have agreed to a multi-year partnership naming the platform the Official Ticketing Provider for some of golf's top championships, including the U.S. Open, U.S. Women’s Open Presented by Ally, and U.S. Senior Open. The agreement begins with the USGA’s 2026 championship season and is scheduled to run through 2030.

The partnership will debut with a pre-sale event on May 22, 2025, offering select tickets ahead of the 2026 U.S. Women’s Open. That championship is set to be contested at Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades, Calif. The new deal replaces the USGA's previous arrangement with AXS.

Under the terms of the agreement, SeatGeek will function as both the primary ticketing platform and an official partner of the governing body. This expands the relationship beyond a transactional service.

Bryan Miranda, USGA Managing Director of Partnerships & Hospitality, stated the organization sought a partner capable of serving as both a large-scale ticketing platform and a collaborator. Amanda Weiner, USGA Managing Director of Global Media & Ticketing, added that SeatGeek's existing presence in golf and tailored features for fans were factors.

SeatGeek's technology platform aims to provide a modern and intuitive experience for golf fans, corporate clients, and hospitality partners. Features include streamlined checkout for multiple days and sessions in a single transaction.

The platform's fan engagement tool, Rally, integrates information directly into digital tickets and provides access to onsite upgrades and offers based on customer profiles. SeatGeek will also present the onsite Ticket Office at both the U.S. Open and U.S. Women's Open.

For USGA operations, SeatGeek's Unify box-office solution will be used to manage ticketing operations and optimize event days. This system provides real-time data and analytics to inform inventory management and tailor fan experiences.

SeatGeek co-founder and president of supply, Russ D’Souza, noted the USGA's approach to using technology to connect fans to the sport. He stated the company focuses on partnering with prominent brands in sports where their technology can add value.

The partnership adds to SeatGeek's growing portfolio in golf, which includes existing deals with the PGA of America and the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA).

SeatGeek's partner roster spans various sports leagues and teams, including Major League Baseball (MLB), Major League Soccer (MLS), the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL), the English Premier League (EPL), six National Football League (NFL) teams, three National Basketball Association (NBA) teams, two National Hockey League (NHL) teams, and the United Soccer League.

"Our fans will receive a ticketing experience that’s as exceptional as the championships themselves, and SeatGeek is the right partner to deliver that," Ms. Weiner said.
