Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez and Terence Crawford are scheduled to face off in a boxing super-fight on September 12 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. The highly anticipated matchup was confirmed following Alvarez's recent victory.

Alvarez defeated William Scull by unanimous decision in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to regain the undisputed super-middleweight championship. The win marked Alvarez's 63rd professional victory.

The bout against Scull was described by Alvarez as a "boring fight," stating his opponent was "just trying to survive." Despite the lack of action, Alvarez won clearly on the scorecards.

Following the decision, Crawford entered the ring to stand opposite Alvarez, confirming their planned meeting. The upcoming fight pits two of the sport's known names against each other.

Alvarez holds a record of 63 wins, two losses, and two draws. Crawford, 37, is undefeated with 41 wins. He is moving up from the light-middleweight division for the contest.

The fight is expected to draw considerable attention, placing a multi-division champion against a reigning undisputed champion at a higher weight class.

"Crawford is one of the best out there, I like to share the ring with that kind of a fighter. It's my pleasure," Alvarez said after his win over Scull.

Crawford stated, "In September I'll show the world what greatness looks like."
