The Arizona Diamondbacks defeated the Atlanta Braves 6-4 on Sunday, April 27, stopping a four-game losing streak and avoiding a sweep in the series finale at Chase Field.

Josh Naylor, who had three hits on the day including two doubles, delivered a key hit in the seventh inning.

With the Diamondbacks holding a one-run advantage, Naylor hit a two-run double with two outs. The ball landed between outfielders in left-center field, allowing two runs to score and providing runs the team would need to secure the win.

Brandon Pfaadt earned his fifth win of the season, allowing two earned runs over six innings. Corbin Carroll contributed with two triples and recorded an outfield assist with a throw to the plate in the first inning.

Relievers Shelby Miller and Ryan Thompson pitched scoreless innings in the seventh and eighth to maintain the lead.

Justin Martinez closed out the game in the ninth for the save, despite allowing one run. He retired Ozzie Albies to end the contest.

The win followed a demanding stretch of games for the Diamondbacks, including four extra-inning contests in the previous seven days.

The club is preparing for a road trip that begins with a series against the New York Mets in New York.

Arizona manager Torey Lovullo provided updates on players recovering from injuries, stating pitchers Kevin Ginkel and Kendall Graveman are nearing returns. Right-hander Scott McGough was called up from Triple-A Reno prior to Sunday's game, while Yilber Diaz was optioned and J.P. Feyereisen was designated for assignment.

"I hit it in like a perfect area where you've got to have perfect communication and luckily they didn't," Naylor said of his seventh-inning double.
