Josh Berry will compete in Sunday's Würth 400 at Texas Motor Speedway with the Würth Group as his primary sponsor. Berry qualified seventh for the NASCAR Cup Series race.

The sponsorship deal puts the global assembly and fastening materials company on Berry's No. 21 Ford Mustang driven for Wood Brothers Racing. Würth sponsorship marks a new partnership for the team at the event titled the Würth 400.

Berry posted his qualifying lap on Saturday, May 3, securing a spot on the fourth row for the start of the race.

"It has been a good day," Berry said after qualifying. "I thought our car was pretty solid in practice."

Berry expressed confidence in his qualifying effort despite the challenges of the Texas track. "I felt good about the qualifying lap," he added. "It is so high-commitment here that it is hard to tell if you left just a little bit out there." Ford qualifying results placed him as the second-highest qualifying Ford driver.

The No. 21 Ford will display a red, white, and black design for the race.

Berry noted the unique nature of Texas Motor Speedway's layout. "It’s definitely a unique layout," he said. "Each end of the track is so drastically different that part of the problem is it’s very hard to get your car really balanced on both ends."

Sunday's race is scheduled to start at 3:30 p.m. ET.
