A wildfire is burning in a wooded area near Hackettstown in Warren County, forcing the closure of part of Route 46. The New Jersey Forest Fire Service identified the incident as the "Route 46 Wildfire."

The agency reported Friday afternoon the fire had burned 100 acres.

The fire has zero percent containment at this time.

According to the Forest Fire Service, no evacuations have been ordered.

However, the agency stated that 25 structures are currently threatened by the fire.

Authorities have closed Route 46 between Liberty Township and Hackettstown due to the fire.

Drivers are advised to avoid the area while crews work on the fire.
