Emergency crews responded to a structure fire at the Cheshire Academy early Tuesday morning, leading to the evacuation of students and staff. Officials reported no injuries in the incident.

The fire was reported around 5 a.m. at a dorm building on the private school campus in Cheshire, Connecticut. Emergency crews responded to a dorm fire as part of the Route 10 corridor was closed to facilitate response efforts.

Seventeen individuals, including both students and staff, were in the building when the fire began. All occupants were able to safely evacuate the structure before firefighters arrived on the scene.
