The musical comedy "Titanique," which reimagines the story of the R.M.S. Titanic disaster with the music of Céline Dion, is scheduled to conclude its exclusive Sydney run on June 22, 2025. The production has played over 300 performances since opening.

The show's book is co-written by Marla Mindelle, Constantine Rousouli, and Tye Blue. Blue also serves as the director. The musical first premiered off-Broadway in New York in 2022.

"Titanique" won an Olivier Award for Best Entertainment or Comedy Play during its London run. The show's Off-Broadway production also garnered multiple accolades, including Lucille Lortel Awards and the Off-Broadway Alliance Award for Best New Musical.

The Sydney production has been the show's sole presentation in Australia. It has played at The Grand Electric venue.

Producer Michael Cassel commented on the show's time in Sydney.

"Bringing Titanique to Sydney has been an unsinkable joy," Cassel said. "We’ve laughed until we cried, Céline’d until our vocal cords gave out, and rode every comedic wave this show had to offer. The Sydney audience didn’t just come aboard—they clung to the bow and screamed into the wind. I couldn’t be prouder of the extraordinary cast and crew who kept the heart of the ocean beating strong."

The production features Marney McQueen as Céline Dion, alongside Georgina Hopson as Rose Dewitt-Bukater and Drew Weston as Jack Dawson. The creative team includes choreographer Ellenore Scott and music supervisor Nicholas James Connell.

Support for the Sydney season was provided by the NSW Government through Destination NSW.

The final performance date is set for June 22, 2025. More information can be found HERE.
