Puerto Rican artist Rauw Alejandro made history this week by becoming the first Latin artist to sell out the Intuit Dome for three consecutive nights.
The accomplishment occurred during the Rauw Alejandro Tour's stop in Los Angeles.
Performances across the three nights drew thousands of fans to the venue in Inglewood, California. The shows are part of the acclaimed Cosa Nuestra World Tour.
Special guests joined Alejandro on stage. Marconi Impara and Yan Block performed their song “Espresso Martini” with him on Sunday and Monday nights. Read more about the Los Angeles shows here.
The tour supports Alejandro's album "Cosa Nuestra." The album debuted at No. 1 on the Latin Albums chart and No. 6 on the Billboard 200. This tour features Alejandro performing with a live band.
Before the performances, Alejandro appeared at a pop-up event with Complex LA, distributing merchandise and greeting attendees. The event featured limited edition items. See one report on the historical sellout.
The North American portion of the tour began in Seattle. It included stops in cities such as Chicago, Boston, and New York before arriving in Los Angeles.
The tour is set to move to Europe next. Performances are scheduled to start in London in June. The European leg will continue through cities like Paris and Madrid before concluding in Barcelona in July. Find more live music news.
