Organizers revealed the lineup for the 2025 Bumbershoot festival, set to take place this summer at Seattle Center. The 52nd edition of the music and arts event returns on Labor Day Weekend, scheduled for August 30 and 31.
Headliners for the two-day festival include Weezer, Janelle Monáe, Aurora, Sylvan Esso, Car Seat Headrest, and Bright Eyes. Weezer is scheduled to perform their "Blue Album" as part of their tour.
Other acts on the bill feature Indigo de Souza, Saba, Tank & the Bangas, Tennis, and The Budos Band. The festival also includes hometown artists such as Car Seat Headrest, Digable Planets, Pretty Girls Make Graves, The Murder City Devils, J.R.C.G., TeZATalks, and Great Grandpa. Digable Planets is slated to celebrate the 30th anniversary of their album "Blowout Comb."
This marks the third year for organizers New Rising Sun at the helm, who took over the festival after a hiatus.
Two-day passes for Bumbershoot 2025 are currently on sale, starting at $199 plus taxes and fees at bumbershoot.com. Prices will increase on May 9 to $225 for weekend passes, and single-day tickets will become available at $125.
Ticket costs represent an increase from the previous year. In 2024, single-day passes started at $70 and two-day passes at $125.
Organizers cite an earlier presale period where weekend passes were offered at $100 as a response to keeping prices lower for early buyers.
Proceeds from Bumbershoot support the festival's nonprofit entity, Third Stone. This organization works to train future event producers and provides workforce development opportunities, using the festival as a classroom experience for interns.
Additional ticket options are available, including a "Crew Pack" offering four weekend passes for $800. A joint ticket with the Capitol Hill Block Party festival, priced at $340, is also available for attendees 21 and older. This joint option combines access to both events. Capitol Hill Block Party is set for July 19-20.
The festival site at Seattle Center will host music stages alongside non-musical arts programming. This includes the Century 21 District at the Pacific Science Center, the Recess District featuring various activities, and installations within the Geodesic Domes.
