Kanye West and his wife, Bianca Censori, are preparing to sue the musician's former dentist, alleging medical malpractice, fraudulent billing, and other offenses. The couple claims the dentist supplied West with nitrous oxide and propofol, enabling unsupervised drug use that led to dependency and behavioral issues.

A notice of intent to initiate litigation was sent to Dr. Thomas Connelly from the Golden Law firm. The notice details alleged improper practices while West was a patient of Connelly's between 2024 and early 2025.

West underwent various cosmetic procedures during this period, including specialized prosthodontic work and a titanium crown. The lawsuit alleges Connelly supplied nitrous oxide and encouraged West to self-administer it without supervision, despite observing signs of neurological and behavioral distress.

The letter states Connelly delivered large tanks of the gas to West's residence, which he shared with Bianca Censori, allegedly enabling him to inhale the substance outside a medical setting. Ms. Censori is named as a witness who was present for and impacted by some of these events.

According to the letter, Connelly also allegedly administered propofol on multiple occasions in non-medical settings, including a hotel in Las Vegas. One instance allegedly led to West suffering "extreme mental and physical distress leading to urgent medical care."

The firm alleges Connelly extracted "exorbitant payments" from West, reportedly totaling $50,000 per month and cumulatively reaching hundreds of thousands of dollars.

The notice claims Connelly neglected to provide follow-up medical care, detoxification assistance, or referrals as West allegedly developed a dependency on nitrous oxide and experienced neurological damage.

Past claims surfaced last year from Yiannopoulos, who alleged Connelly sought to diminish West's mental faculties for financial gain. Yiannopoulos claimed dentist staff delivered gas tanks to Censori's apartment. A representative for Connelly previously disputed Yiannopoulos's claims as inaccurate and misleading.

West has a public history of erratic behavior and was diagnosed with bipolar disorder in 2016. During the period detailed in the lawsuit, he made public statements and social media posts, including remarks praising Adolf Hitler and referencing a swastika on his website alongside a Yeezy shirt.

"Evidence shows that during the time Ye was under your care, you engaged in numerous inappropriate and dangerous practices that were far outside the bounds of any legitimate medical purpose or standard of care," the notice from Golden Law stated. "These actions were not isolated incidents but rather part of a pattern of improper conduct by you from 2024 through 2025 while Ye was your patient."
