The Petal Update for the Roblox game Dress to Impress is now available, bringing a range of new features and items. The update went live on Saturday, April 26, at 11 a.m. EDT.
Players on the West Coast of North America saw the update release at 8 a.m. PDT. In the U.K., the update arrived at 4 p.m. BST, while Western Europe received it at 5 p.m. CEST. For Tokyo, the release occurred at 12 a.m. JST on April 27.
This expansion focuses on introducing new outfits, accessories, and animations for players in the competitive dress-up environment. Developers stated the update aims to enhance game experience with quality-of-life features.
The Petal Update introduces a revamped shop user interface, making navigation easier for players browsing items. Changes were also made to the color picker and pose selection menus.
New walking animations are available for the runway, adding variety to how players present their outfits. Six different walk packs were added, including 'Elegant', 'Icy', and 'Diva', available for in-game currency. A 'Petal Pose Pack' was also included.
Players can now adjust accessory sizes and rotation to better customize character appearance. This feature unlocks after completing 30 game rounds. Options to hide other players during rounds have also been added.
The update features a large collection of new clothes and accessories designed for a spring theme, described as suitable for "sunny days and golden hour selfies." Items are available individually or as part of sets.
Three sets requiring Robux were added: the Rich Girl, Moongazer, and Denim Star sets. Three sets available for in-game cash include the Grunge Collection, Wild West Set, and Withered Love Set.
A total of 12 new hairstyles, 11 new preset faces with 46 custom makeup additions, 16 head accessories, 35 new clothing pieces, and 3 new shoes were included in the release.
New CODES items were also added with the Petal Update. Players can find information on these and other codes on game-specific websites to expand their wardrobes.
