The Powerball jackpot remains unwon after the drawing held Saturday, May 3, 2025. No ticket matched all six numbers drawn for the estimated $44 million grand prize.

The winning numbers drawn were 10, 21, 23, 35, 65, and the Powerball was 24. The Power Play multiplier for this drawing was 2X.

While the top prize went unclaimed, players across the country won smaller amounts. For example, the Ohio Lottery reported thousands of winners in that state from the May 3 drawing.

Ohio winners included 15 tickets winning $200, 17 winning $100, and thousands more winning smaller amounts like $14, $8, $7, and $4.

The jackpot now increases to an estimated $54 million for the next drawing. That drawing is scheduled for Monday, May 5 at 10:59 p.m. ET.

The odds of winning the Powerball jackpot are long. According to the Powerball website, the odds of hitting the jackpot are one in 292,201,338. Winning the second-tier prize of $1 million by matching the five white balls has odds of one in 11,688,053.52.

Powerball drawings occur three times a week, on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday evenings. Tickets cost $2, with an option to add the Power Play for an additional $1 to multiply non-jackpot prizes.

Players can purchase Powerball tickets in 45 states, Washington DC, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Ticket purchase deadlines vary by jurisdiction. Tickets can be bought at retail locations or through official digital couriers like Jackpocket, the official digital lottery courier of the USA TODAY Network in certain states.

The largest Powerball jackpot ever won was $2.04 billion in November 2022.
